Incalmi is an Italian company dedicated to designing objects for important names in the world of luxury, design and architecture. With the idea of presenting a collection under its own name, Incalmi feels the need to make clear the intricacies of its work and to tell the story of the taste and culture contained in its objects.

Because Incalmi embodies the dual nature of designer and developer, we decide to use the theme of the union of duplicity as a communication concept.

Everything becomes one

From the brand name, inspired by a glassmaking technique in which two shapes are paired to make a single object, to the service offered, which combines design and product development, at Incalmi everything becomes one. Even the new logo, suggesting the intertwining of the central letters, is inspired by the idea of union and creation.

Objects of Culture

Descriptive yet evocative, the payoff Objects of Culture is the synthesis of Incalmi's philosophy, which in designing each object is dedicated to research and looks to the cultural heritage of Italian craftsmanship.

The power of synesthesia

Visually, the communication is inspired by sensory contamination. We use bright photographs with light, soft shadows to narrate objects, while the details of material textures are so close that they create abstract backgrounds: by transcending the object, we emphasize a universal beauty that transforms craftsmanship into art.

The beauty of the double

The website also invokes the theme of doubles: on the homepage, side-by-side images scrolling past each other reinforce the concepts of Object and Culture. And if the objects are presented as in an art catalog, Incalmi's philosophy is uncompromisingly expressed in the form of a manifesto.
